Just A Little Bit Jealous!

My sweetie JaKelle has been in Washington DC and New York this week with a group of kids from her  school, I missed her very much. She was able to go see a Broadway Show "The Little Mermaid" and her words were "Mom, O My Gosh, this is so cool!" Yes, I think if I were in N.Y. sitting watching a Broadway Show I would think that it was pretty cool too, in fact, I'm pretty sure I would be very emotional and cry if I were even in N.Y. I'm so glad she was able go and experience these things, and Kelly I hope to see all those awesome pictures you took posted on your blog soon.

Doesn't this look so good!!

There is a little Hawaiian restaurant that we like to go to called Moki's, the food is so good, every time I'm there it makes me want to go back to Hawaii. We were eating there the other day and at the table there was this list of Da Pidgin Ten Commandments Hawaiian Style. I thought they were cute and would share them with you all. I like #5

Da Pidgin Ten Commandments Hawaiian Style

1. God is numbah one.
2. No make da kine statues.
3. Watch yo' mout. No swea wit God's name.
4. On Sunday, no can do notting.
5. Leesen to yo' muddah and yo' faddah.
6. No murder nobody.
7. No go moemoe with yo' bradah's wahine.
8. No cockaroach notting.
9. No lie, brah!
10. No be jealous of one noddah person's stuffs.

Oh, an one noddah ting... no talk stink about nobody, bumbye you get bachi.

Hawaiian Style Translation:

moemoe (mo y mo y) - sleep
bradah - brother
wahine (wa hee nay) - girl or woman
cockaroach - steal
bumbye - sometime in the future
bachi (bah chee) - it will come back to you!

Anyone for Scrabble??

I came across these in the store the other day, and since the kids are obsessed with Cheeze-Its I grabbed these. How fun would these be to take camping and play a game of Cheez-It Scrabble?

Easter Pictures

Coloring the eggs, the kids were very creative with their decorating, it got pretty messy for them.

We made M&M cookies

Easter Sunday dress

We had a Easter Egg Hunt, there were three eggs that had money in them a $20, $10 and $5 dollar bill. Kell found the 20 woo hoo, Josh found both the 10 and 5. Sorry Jared and Lexi maybe next year.

Birthday Dinner

For my birthday, we went to dinner at "The Keg" they have really good steak and a lettuce wedge salad, YUM-O.

Lynn got me an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins, chocolate cake with mint ice cream. I havent had one of these forever, and it tasted so good.

Charm braclet from Juicy Couture, and a certificate for a free pedi.

I love Philosophy products, I got the birthday girl set with fun things in it. On each product there is a bit of philosophy on them. I loved what was on the birthday one.
philosphy: be grateful to have been given one more day, let alone one more year. remember to dance in your nightgown, sing in the shower, ride a bike, fly a kite, and take an occasional "wind bath" in your bare skin. give those you love big kisses, huge hugs, and the words "i love you" often and always. nurture your body rather than starve your soul with fad dieting. spend time with the old and the weary to better appreciate your life. on your birthday, call your mother and father wherever they are to thank them for all that they have done for you, even if you think they haven't done enough, watch the movie "life is beautiful" at least once a year. remember that you are not guaranteed tomorrow and that today is a good as it gets. thank god for every "thing", every "day", every moment.

Thanks to my kids and my husband for making it a special day. I am so blessed to have my family and friends in my life and want to thank them for their calls and gifts, your the best.
