Missing my sister Michelle today, its been 21 years since she passed away, not a day goes by I don't think about her. This is the poem I read at her funeral

Love you Sis!!

"I'll lend you for a while a child of mine," He said.
"For you to love the while she lives and mourn for when she's dead.
It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,
But will you, till I call her back, take care of her for me?
She'll bring her charms to gladden you, and should her stay be brief,
You'll have her lovely memories as solace for your grief."

"I cannot promise she will stay; since all from earth return,
But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide world over in My search for teachers true
And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes I have chosen you.
Now will you give her all your love, not think the labor vain,
Nor hate Me when I come to call to take her back again?"

S. Lincoln Haacke Reunion

One thing I look forward to when I go home to Utah is getting together with my family, living in another state I don't get to see them very often. With my parents gone and two of my sisters I feel it so important that we keep close to each other, I know that it is what makes them happy and is important to them. My dad would always tell us sisters, "make sure everyone stays close when we are gone." Thank you Bonnie for always arranging our get togethers when I come, this year we had dinner at the park, and had some good visits and got caught up with whats going on in our families. I love you all Haacke Family.

Pictures of JaKelle in Star Valley

There are these pretty yellow flowers all around Star Valley (Lynn calls them weeds) the day we went to Jackson Hole, JaKelle was looking pretty cute so I decided to stop and take some pictures of her in these yellow flowers and by this barn that I love that is close to our cabin. I think they turned out pretty good, she looks beautiful.

Summer Fun!!

So the summer is almost over and I realize I haven't blogged anything since Fathers Day. We have had a busy summer and have loved being with my family and getting out of the Arizona heat. I can't believe it is almost over and school is about to begin. Here are a few things the Westergards have been up to.

Fathers Day

We had a great Fathers Day on Sunday, Lynn was able to do some relaxing and watch the US Open, eat fajitas with chips and salsa and his favorite chocolate chip cookies with milk. He received some pretty awesome gifts from the kids too. Were thankful for such a wonderful Dad!!
