We drove a couple of hours to Jesse's first area, he served there for 6 months. It's by the beach so it was super more humid than it already was, but very pretty. There were two families he wanted to see there so we were able to go visit them and have them fix us dinner and we were able to attend church on Sunday. There was a man that Jesse had taught but didn't know what happened to him cause he got transferred and he saw him at church and he came up to Jesse and told him thank you, if it wasn't for him he would of never got baptized. We also were able to drive by and see one of the homes he lived in, the one that he fell from the roof and broke his wrist, when I saw it I couldn't believe he didn't get hurt worse, he was definitely being watched over.
This is where we spent most of our time, so this is a long post......
Sister Martinez made dinner for us and the missionaries.
these young women all wanted a picture with Jesse, they each got their own and then a group, they would of kept taking pictures if their leader didn't come make them go to class, they were so cute.
Josh needed some clothes washed so he did it in the tub, Im not sure they dried all the way with how humid it was.
Eating at the Abreu home, she made a really good meal called moros de guandules (pigeon peas and rice)
