Las Vegas with the Mesa Cheer

I had the opportunity to go to Vegas with the Mesa Cheer Squad and be a chaperone for the American Cheer Dance Competition, we stayed at the MGM Grand where they also performed at the Convention Center there. I was so proud of them, they were up against some pretty hard competition from some very competitive groups. But they went in and did our school proud, the cheer took 2nd place and missed 1st by 1.8 points, our Pom took 3rd place. It was fun being with such a great group of girls, they made it easy to be their mom for the weekend, but most of all I loved being with my Kell, it was a fun getaway. Of course we found time to go walking around Vegas and do some shopping and lots of eating. Even though it was rainy and cold we had a great time.
