I've been thinking a lot about my Dad these past couple of days, it has been 7 years this last Friday since he passed away. He was always such a great example to me, I love you Dad!!

Somebody's Birthday Shout Hooray!!

Birthday Celebration at Benihana's & Disneyland
We spent JaKelle's birthday eating at Benihana's, like her Dad, it's one of her favorites. Her favorite is the chicken fried rice and the birthday ice cream with a pineapple boat they give you after dinner. After we came home to have her birthday cake, a friend of mines Aunt made the cake for me and it was amazing, a big chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, Yum-o. Kell got a new camera so she can get all the fun times she is with her friends at school and cheer, and some cute clothes and gift certificate and country rock band from her brothers and sis-in-law.
Later that week it was off to Disneyland for her 16th birthday celebration, she was allowed to invite a friend so we were lucky to have Tori come along with us. We stayed at the Disneyland Grand Hotel (my favorite) we were lucky enough to have a concierge room which meant we had some extra things available to us. There was a room we would go into and they always had snacks, drinks and a continental breakfast oh and every night was cookie night and you could watch the fireworks from the balcony with all the music right there. We had a fun time going back and forth from Disneyland to California Adventure, each one had our favorite rides we had to hit a couple of times. We were able to go see the new show "World of Color" water show it was pretty amazing. I loved having it decorated like Halloween and seeing Mickey Mouse pumpkins all over. We walked and walked till we couldn't walk anymore and one of the favorites for the girls was ordering room service and watching movies they could check out at the front desk. I love Disneyland, it really is the" Happiest Place On Earth"

Happy Sweet 16th Birthday JaKelle
Happy Sweet 16th Birthday to my beautiful daughter JaKelle, still can't believe this day is here, it just seems like yesterday that I was awaiting her arrival and could hardly wait to have my baby girl. JaKelle always brings such a special spirit into our home, always is concerned about others, has the best 3 older brothers who treat her like a queen. Kell loves being with her friends they are very important to her, since she was little she would always go up to anyone and talk to them and ask them if they wanted to be her friend. We are very lucky to have her in our family! Happy Birthday Kell, we love you!

Making Bread & Learning to Dance
For mutual last week the Mia Maids learned how to make wheat bread from a lady in our ward Noelle Fisher, who makes wonderful bread. The girls did a great job and got a little extra treat when Tylor taught us some great dance moves, a little hip hop and the Thriller, he's an awesome dancer and should be good in our roadshow. We had a great time and even got our own loaf of bread to take home, yummy. I love these girls.
